Hello everyone and an extremely Happy New Year from all at Helensburgh and Lomond Autism. We are looking forward to a fresh year ahead making fantastic memories however just now I would like to take a look back at our Winter. We hope everyone had a fantastic christmas and now normality has resumed hopefully things are a little easier. Christmas at HALA was certainly a fun and eventful time beginning with our wonderful stall at the Helensburgh Winter Festival. This has to be one of my favourite events to volunteer at as everyone is always so cheery. A massive thank you to everyone who donated to our wonderful hampers (didn't Tania do an amazing job with them!) to everyone who supported us by visiting our stall and/or buying raffle tickets. Without you all we wouldn't be able to continue the work we do as a charity and a massive thank you to the whole committee, each and every person helped at the stall with a smile eager to help.
We also had a group visit to the Helensburgh pantomine seeing Aladdin at Victoria Halls. Everyone had a fantastic time and what an amazing production! This was very gratefully funded by Eden in Helensburgh and Buddies in Boats donations. Thank you so much and a huge thank you to Susanna for organising it all, your a star!
Next we had a visit to Grasshopper toys to see Santa. The children had a lovely time so thank you so much for hosting us.
Finally we had our christmas film seeing Elf at The Tower Helensburgh. Wearing our christmas jumpers and singing loud and clear for all to hear ;) we all had a great time. For this event we asked for donations to fund a donation to Helensburgh and Lomond Foodbank. Thank you all for your donations they were greatly received. Thank you Tania for organising it all and dropping it off.
So I'm really not sure we can top all that fun and excitement but we are sure going to try. Please do continue to support our wonderful charity and we look forward to seeing you all at future events.
